The two cricketing nations are still at a standstill.

The board meeting to decide the fate of the 2025 Champions Trophy has been postponed to tomorrow by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Discussions that produced no results have been postponed until tomorrow for more consideration.

Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), adamantly reaffirmed Pakistan’s opposition to a hybrid tournament approach during the meeting. He underlined that Pakistan is still determined to host every game domestically.

The Indian government has not authorized the national cricket team’s visit to Pakistan, according to the representatives of India who were present.

The two cricketing nations are still at a standstill. The board members will get together again tomorrow to try to make progress, according to ICC officials. But if the deadlock persists, the ICC can decide to hold a vote to decide the tournament’s destiny.
