Australia vs. India, 5th Test: Rohit Sharma might not be included in the playing XI for the series finale, which begins in Sydney on January 3. Due to an injury, pacer Aakash Deep will not play in the fifth Test.
When India plays Australia in Sydney for the fifth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, captain Rohit Sharma is probably going to be left out of the starting lineup. According to sources, vice captain Jasprit Bumrah would head the squad in the captain’s absence.
Despite playing in 67 Test matches for India, Rohit may not be wearing the whites for the national team again.
Questions on Rohit’s Test future were raised during the ongoing series agianst Australia where he was not able to perform with bat and as captain both.
