With clubs all across Europe hoping to close deals to bolster their squads for the second half of the season, the January transfer market is now officially open. Teams are already putting in a lot of overtime behind the scenes to find targets to loan or sign.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli, is reportedly a target for both Manchester United and Liverpool. With French powerhouse PSG also in the running, the Georgian winger might become available this month if Napoli receives a sizable bid.

Max Alleyne, a young player for Manchester City, has been approached by Borussia Dortmund. Harvey Elliott is another player that might be moving to the German powerhouses. The 21-year-old is having trouble getting consistent playing time at Liverpool, and Fulham and Dortmund are keeping an eye on his availability.

In the meantime, West Ham is considering a January deal for Jonathan David to address their immediate problems, and Aston Villa is negotiating with Ligue 2 teams Caen over their promising forward Tidiam Gomes.
