By January 12, the competing teams must turn in their first squads of 15 players.

Teams have been given a deadline to submit player names for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. An ICC spokesperson stated that the competing teams have till January 12 to submit their initial squads of 15 players. 

On February 19, the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which Pakistan will host, will get underway. Teams will have the chance to alter their lineups, though, and they must turn in their final squads of 15 players by February 12.

Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi are the three cities in Pakistan where the competition will be held between February 19 and March 9. India’s matches will be held at neutral venues in the UAE.

Two groups are formed from the eight competing teams. Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa make up Group B, while Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh make up Group A.

On February 19, Pakistan will play New Zealand in Karachi to begin the tournament. On February 23, they will play India, which is eagerly awaited.
