One of the tournament’s highlights, the eagerly awaited Pakistan vs. India match will take place in Dubai on February 23.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule has been officially revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Eight elite teams will compete in the competition, which will take place in Pakistan and Dubai between February 19 to March 9.
On February 19, Pakistan will play New Zealand in Karachi to begin the tournament. Pakistan will host games in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi over the course of 19 days, with a total of 15 matches. Additionally, a number of matches, including the first semi-final and the India group-stage matchups, will be held in Dubai.
Unless India qualifies, the tournament final will take place in Lahore on March 9; if they do, the event would be moved to Dubai. To maintain fair play, reserve days will be used for both the semifinals and the final match.
Group Stages
The teams are divided into two groups:
– Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh
– Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan
One of the tournament’s highlights, the eagerly awaited Pakistan vs. India match, is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai. Afghanistan vs. South Africa in Karachi on February 21 and England vs. Australia in Lahore on February 22 are two other important games.
Three group-stage matches will be played at each of the three locations in Pakistan; the second semi-final will be held in Lahore. On February 20, India takes on Bangladesh in the tournament’s Dubai leg.
The top eight teams from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will compete for the coveted Champions Trophy 2025. With Pakistan hoping to retain their title as hosts, fans are looking forward to this thrilling event.
