A total of 6.9 million dollars will be given out as tournament prize money, according to the ICC, which reports that the event’s prize pool has grown by 53% from the last edition.
The Champions Trophy winner will get $2.24 million, and the runners up team will get $1.12 million.
The two teams that lose in the semifinals will each receive $560,000, while each team will receive $34,000 for each group match they win.
The teams that place fifth and sixth will receive 350,000 dollars, while the team that places seventh will receive 140,000 dollars.
Each team will also receive $125,000 for taking part in the competition.
Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9.
Pakistan will play New Zealand in the opening match on February 19 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
