Asif puts on a fantastic display, defeating Thaha Arshath of Sri Lanka without dropping a single frame.

In the SAARC Snooker Championship final, which took place at the Moors Snooker Club in Colombo, Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif won a resounding 5-0 victory to win the coveted tournament for the third time.

Asif defeated Thaha Arshath of Sri Lanka without dropping a single frame thanks to an incredible effort. Asif displayed his remarkable cue control and technique as the final concluded with frame scores of 99-3, 73-46, 85-38, 109-6, and 74-0.

During the best-of-9 final, Asif recorded three breaks of 50 or higher, including a top break of 67 in the opening and closing frames, which cemented his decisive victory.

His reputation as one of the most successful amateur players in the region has been cemented with this victory, which marks his seventh career championship. 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave Asif his sincere congratulations in honor of his accomplishment. In a statement, the prime minister wished Asif continued success in his future endeavors and commended him for giving pride to the country with his incredible victory.
