In Riyadh, Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, the chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, met with Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The advancement of cricket in Saudi Arabia and the growth of its players were the main topics of conversation. Prince Saud was invited by Naqvi to come to Pakistan and observe the Champions Trophy tournament matches at the meeting.
Naqvi also pledged his whole support in building stadiums and advancing cricket in Saudi Arabia. In addition, he offered to send Saudi Arabian players to Pakistan for training, raising the prospect of a player exchange program to support the development of young talent in both nations.
“We are committed to supporting the development of cricket and the building of stadiums in Saudi Arabia,” stated Naqvi. “We can initiate a player exchange program, where Saudi Arabia can send their emerging players to Pakistan for training,” he stated.
