Atif Aslam, a well-known singer, will perform the tournament’s official anthem during the ICC Champions Trophy opening ceremony, which will be held today at the Diwan-e-Aam of Lahore Fort.
Cricket fans will be riveted to their screens or at the stadium for 19 action-packed days beginning February 19 as they wait to discover which side wins the title of ultimate champion.
Pakistani players which won the previous edition of the Champions Trophy in 2017 will also be present in the ceremony.
Cricket luminaries will participate in a unique panel discussion at the opening ceremony to set the stage before the on-field action starts. Important representatives from the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will also be present at the occasion.
