At a lavish event held at the recently renovated Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formally unveiled the national team’s jersey for the forthcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.

In front of supporters and officials, the 15-man Pakistani team unveiled the new jersey. Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and women’s cricket players Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana all appeared in a special one-minute promo video that PCB made to commemorate the event.

Pakistan, the host country and reigning champions, will play New Zealand in the opening match of the tournament on February 19 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. Their most anticipated game is set for February 23 in Dubai against bitter rivals India. The last group-stage match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled for February 27 in Rawalpindi.

From February 19 to March 9, 15 matches between the eight teams will take place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai.

Two groups are formed from the teams:

Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh

Group B: Afghanistan, South Africa, England, Australia

Ten games will be played in Pakistan, and four games—including both of India’s group matches and the opening semifinal—will be played in Dubai. Originally scheduled to take place in Lahore, the final will instead take place in Dubai if India advances. In the event of any weather delays, a backup day has also been scheduled for the final.
