Because of their impressive recent performances, Pakistan’s cricket players have moved up in the most recent ICC rankings.

With 612 points, captain Mohammad Rizwan rose to 21st place in the ODI batter rankings. After winning Player of the Series in Pakistan’s 3-0 victory over South Africa, rising sensation Saim Ayub made an incredible 57-spot jump to 23rd position. Ayub’s skill was demonstrated by his two hundred runs in the series. Salman Ali Agha, the vice captain, also made progress, moving up 28 spots to 80th.

Abdullah Shafique, on the other hand, had a difficult series and fell 21 spots to 98th after scoring three ducks. Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman both dropped one position to 17th and 19th, respectively. Babar Azam is still the best ODI batsman, followed by Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill of India.  

Rashid Khan maintained his top spot and Kuldeep Yadav moved up to second in the bowling rankings, while Shaheen Afridi fell to third. Naseem Shah moved up 10 spots to 51st, while Haris Rauf dropped to 16th.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam remained at sixth and ninth in T20Is, respectively. Saim Ayub rose to 57th place, and Iftikhar Ahmed and Fakhar Zaman both had minor improvements. Among T20I bowlers, Shaheen Afridi fell to 23rd place, and Haris Rauf fell to 28th.  

Babar Azam rose to 15th place in the batter rankings for Test matches. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha rose to 18th and 19th place, respectively. Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq, however, saw a decrease. In bowling Noman Ali moves to 9th, Naseem Shah is ranked 41st, and Shaheen Afridi is 18th.
