On his 36th birthday, Virat Kohli celebrates winning the T20 World Cup in spite of a difficult year in Test cricket.

Today, November 5, is Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli’s 36th birthday. It has been a challenging year for him both personally and professionally. Although Kohli is renowned for his exceptional consistency, his recent performance has divided experts and fans, particularly given his struggles with form in all forms.

Cricket player Virat Kohli turned 36 today, and Anushka Sharma posted a heartfelt birthday greeting for him.

The actress shared a picture of Virat cradling their two kids, Vamika and Akaay, on Instagram. Anushka covered their children’s faces with loving emoticons to protect their privacy. She merely used an evil eye symbol and a heart emoji to express her affection for the image; she didn’t write a caption.

Although Kohli was the IPL’s top run scorer this year, he had a difficult 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign before making a historic return. After leading India to victory and winning Player of the Match in a thrilling final match against South Africa, Kohli gave supporters a first look at the player they have long adored. Even with this victory, Kohli’s difficulties during the competition highlighted a difficult year.

Concern has also been raised by Kohli’s performance in red-ball cricket. His inability to get 100 runs overall in the most recent Test series against New Zealand raised questions regarding his spot in the Indian Test lineup. Despite his earlier withdrawal from T20 internationals, questions over his future in India’s Test team are still being raised.

The legendary cricket player’s journey captures the highs and lows of an incredible career as he enters a new year. As Kohli navigates the future, fans will surely be keeping a close eye on him in the hopes of seeing more of his iconic performances.
