The eagerly awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan is hosting, will get underway at Karachi’s National Stadium on February 19.
Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has affirmed that the Champions Trophy preparations have been completed.
Naqvi met with Faisal Khokhar, Punjab’s Minister of Sports, in Lahore to talk about cricket competitions and plans for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
Faisal Khokhar thanked Naqvi for the record-breaking Gaddafi Stadium reconstruction during the meeting. Naqvi responded by promising the Punjabi government that the PCB would fully support the promotion of sports at all levels.
Faisal Khokhar underlined that they want to advance cricket at all levels with the PCBs help.
In the opening match of the eagerly awaited tournament, which Pakistan is hosting, Pakistan will play New Zealand at Karachi’s National Stadium on February 19.
