West Indies reveal squad for Pakistan tour
The selection for the forthcoming tour of Pakistan has been revealed by the West Indies cricket team. Kraigg Brathwaite will be the team’s captain, and Joshua Da Silva will be the vice captain.
Cricket West Indies reports that the team for the two-match Test series against Pakistan has been finalized. The team will play two-day warm-up games on January 10 and 11 after arriving in Islamabad on January 6.
Additionally, the revised Test series itinerary was made public, indicating that both games will henceforth be played in Multan. This is a departure from the original plan of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which called for the first Test to be held in Karachi and the second in Multan.
The dates of the first and second Test matches are set for January 17–21 and January 25–29, respectively, at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Craig Brathwaite (C), Joshua Da Silva (vc), Alick Athanaze, Keacy Carty, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Tevin Imlach, Amir Jangoo, Mikyle Louis, Gudakesh Motie, Anderson Phillip, Kemar Roach, Kevin Sinclair, Jayden Seales and Jomel Warrican make up the West Indies squad.
